LOW GRIP MIAMI… !I've been studying every F1 track in reverse to see more corners and for a better perspective for my own driving and coaching experience!This is Miami, and the theme was LOW GRIP!One of the tips I can give when you're driving on low grip (either through cold tyres, hard compounds, low downforce, etc) is that you need to be A LOT more PROGRESSIVE with ALL you inputs.That is; You should be progressive on braking, progressive on throttle, and progressive on turn-in - and it should show up on your telemetry data.The reason being is that the car can't deal with hard or fast inputs in low grip, and both the chance & consequence of a mistake too great.This is a different driving style to the usual "hard initial braking application", "more aggressive turn-in", etc. The difference between 'good drivers' and 'great drivers' is that they know WHEN to do WHAT.If you're interested in having me as your private coach, head over to my website and watch the free training or book in a strategy session with me!Give it a go, and let me know how you get on in the comments below!#openformula #feederseries #formula4 #f123 #f1game #f1esports #simracing

How to shorten the racetrack.In motor racing, drivers are always looking for ways to lower their lap times, and one way is to shorten the circuit. That doesn’t mean using the inside of the circuit around a full lap, as that tighter line will force the driver to corner slower in some parts.But there’s areas on a track where drivers can drive a more direct line, to save distance and this will make you faster. It’s always worth trying different lines in practice, watching the fastest drivers and seeing what works. These are the little 1%ers that will get you to the front of the field.
